The trip provides an exclusive opportunity for students to discover how their subject is put into practice. The experience is a three-night, four-day excursion, where learners will be given time to explore the parks and attend interactive Health and Social Care workshops. Day 1 – Wednesday 26th February 2025 · Travel to London: We will depart from Loxton Campus in the morning. · Exploration and Shopping: Students will have the opportunity to explore central London, taking in its renowned landmarks and enjoying a bit of shopping. · Dinner and Super League Basketball Match: In the evening, we’ll dine together at a restaurant before attending the exciting Basketball Super League fixture between London Lions and Manchester. This live match will give students a firsthand look at high-level competition in a fantastic atmosphere.
Day 2 – Thursday, 27th February 2025 · Breakfast and Travel to Wimbledon: After breakfast, we’ll head to Wimbledon Tennis Club for an educational tour. · Wimbledon Tour: The tour, running from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., includes a guided visit to the grounds and informative talks on the business of tennis and the rich history of Wimbledon. This will be a wonderful chance for students to gain insight into the world of professional tennis and sports management. · Return to Loxton Campus: After the tour, we will travel back to Loxton Campus. |
