This is an opportunity for the Fashion learners to see Naomi Campbell's career begin from when she was scouted at age 15 in Covent Garden. In 1988, she became the first Black model to appear on the cover of Paris Vogue. She has worked with many of the fashion industry's most prestigious designers and photographers. Creative learners also have the opportunity to visit the Tate Britain.
Detailed Description
The A level Creative department are planning a day trip to the V&A Museum on Friday 29th November 2024. This will be a fantastic opportunity to broaden the knowledge base for the A level qualification and to witness a world class collection of contemporary and historical Fashion and textile design.
Within Comp1&2 it is imperative to carry out both Primary and Secondary research, therefore this trip will hold huge influence towards the rest of the qualification. It is also essential to bring along your small sketchbook, pencil and a camera. It is also advisable to bring a packed lunch or sufficient funds to eat in Knightsbridge.
Location & departure time: University Campus at 7.00am (so can you please ensure arrival is prompt (6.50AM) We cannot wait for you.

Departure from the V&A: All learners to meet outside the V&A to depart at 4pm.
Art learners will have the opportunity to visit the Tate Britain with Dan Wheatley. A clear itinerary will be provided.
