On Wednesday 21st May 2025, I am thrilled that we have been invited to take part in a Police training exercise in the Somerset Area. The exercise will involve officers responding to a number of incidents in 2 locations and students will be given the opportunity to act as role players to make the scenarios more realistic for the officers responding. Students will be given a full health and safety briefing on arrival and will be asked to sign confidentiality agreements which will allow them to see and hear some of the more sensitive tactics that the Police might use. The Police responders will include a mixture of Armed and Unarmed officers, but all weapons used throughout the exercise are training aids and NOT live.
